Scenario and Activity-
Consider that you are being recruited to the company of your choice as an operation officer trainee and in context to this the CEO of company has asked you about how the managers and leaders will impact the ever-growing company.
You are required to provide a report that will include-
- Introduction of organisation and what managements structure it follows
- Define what is manager and what is leader and along with this also provide the brief regarding the roles played by them. Also differentiate both
- provide an overview about the reaction of manager and leader to different organisational situations by identifying the strength and weakness in environment in which operations are conducted
- Apply chaos theory and management objectives that supports the growth and sustainable performance of organisation by including situational leadership, system leadership and contingency
- Provide conclusion by analysing how managers and leaders impact the organisation and suggest some measures to improve the chosen theories and approaches to leadership.

Scenario and Activity-

Therefore, you are required to prepare a report that will include analysis of external factors that affects operations management and the decision made by them.
The report will cover following aspects-
- Introduction including the organisation operations
- In depth examination of operational management functions and the leadership roles
- Apply key operational approaches and its importance to operations management and what value it provides for the achievement objectives
- What factors influence operational management of chosen organisation
- provide an overview about how the external environmental factors affect the decision making of leaders and managers
- React to the way in which operational efficiencies can be enhanced in order to achieve the business objectives by using appropriate approaches
