Scenario
You have been hired on the position of consultant for an organisation with planning of globally expanding a multinational brand. The operations and sources of materials are spread over different countries with wide range of products and services. Kellogg Company is an example of such organisation.
The organisation of Kellogg's is one of the leading manufacturer for cereal breakfast. The manufacturing of such products is done in 19 countries and sold in more than 160 countries. The well-known brand of Kellogg's produces a wide variety of corn flakes, rice crispiest, Special K, Fruit n Fibre and even their well-known Nutri-Grain cereal bars.
You have to investigate and explain the concepts and practices of supply chain management by using Kellogg's organisation or any organisation of your choice and inform the Directors of organisation for proceeding further for expansion of organisation. Present such evaluation in an Individual Report Format as being presented to the Directors.

Examine the cross functional and integrated approach of SCM with other areas of organisation. Elaborate the application of such interrelationships among supply chain and other functional areas with use of theories, concepts and models.
