The airlines and other transportation's are benefiting because the cruising is consuming a lot of fuel which is making the tickets for traveling even more expensive whereas the airlines are costing way cheaper, and they are transporting the customers to the destinations faster than a cruising would take them. There are a lot of events which are taking place all over the world and the need companies to have transported the customers to their destinations faster. Though now the event industry is started to take the cruising industry also into consideration which is a great expansion for this industry to invest in and the events are being held on cruises as well but the problem is still an issue for the cruising industry because there is no better alternative the company can find as of now (Klein, 2018).

Changes in the preferences of the customers keep taking place and the cruising industry has tried to make the customers satisfied with the services because the industry has a lot of changes in the internal factors, services, and products of the cruising industry but customers are there who still do not prefer to travel by this industry because there are a lot of factors which the customers do not like (Carić, 2016). There are a lot of customers who do not want to waste time and pollute the environment because of them therefore they are traveling and staying in the hotel and tourism industry by airlines so that there is no wastage of anything (Wang and et.al., 2016). The companies are trying their best to have a competitive advantage in the market so that there is growth in the market but the cruising industry cannot do much about it because there is no way they can improve those factors. They are focused on making the comfort level of the customers increase but not on the factor that they are creating so much damage to the environment. The marine life is getting harmed the most from this factor and the oil spills that have taken place in the past are another reason why the government is even more scared to take up any decision for the company and the government is not letting this industry take over the market. The company is hiring young employees cruising so that they are active and do not have such trouble traveling at sea because a lot of people are having sea sickness and younger employees will be able to take care of the customers very well (Pallis, Papachristou and Platias, 2017). The industry needs to have good employee staff on cruising and have the right methods of attracting customers which is another important factor for this industry. The industry is helping with hiring and removing unemployment in the country which is a great advantage for the company and that is a very important factor for the country. The environment plays a great role because there are extremes of temperature on the cruise and the customers might not like that because the customers normally travel from place to place where there is good weather so that they can move around freely. Cruising can only be possible when there is a requirement for longer trips and not for short trips and nowadays people prefer shorter trips so that they can relax and get back to work because everyone has to fulfill their objective and goals in life (Hall, Wood and Wilson, 2017).
