Introduction

Learning is the most significant aspect of every individual's life because it helps in improving personal and professional growth. It is important to consider because it helps in learning new things through which diverse problems can be resolved (Cheng and Chau, 2016). Without having appropriate learning, the skills cannot be employed in order to have sustainable development. In the project report, there is a discussion on the learning style, Belbin team roles, and Myer-Briggs Type Indicator.

Learning and Significance

Learning is considered as a process that allows the acquisition of knowledge or skills so that overall experience can be advanced. It has been noticed that learning can be advanced through the application of diverse standards in context to education. Learning is the act of acquiring new or modifying and reinforcing existing knowledge, behaviors, skills, values and preferences. In addition to this, it can be stated that knowledge and skills acquired by the structured process can be considered as learning. It helps in improving social and behavioral tendency because it impacts directly on the experience level.

In addition to this, it can be stated that learning is the most significant aspect of every individual life because it helps in improving personal and professional growth. It is important to consider because it helps in learning new things through which diverse problems can be resolved. Without appropriate learning, the skills cannot be employed in order to have sustainable development (Halawa, Hamed and Shehab, 2015). It has been witnessed that learning assist in responding to the dangers and reacting so that key aspects can be well maintained in the desired manner. Along with this, it also assists in advancing the positions so that work experience can also be advanced.

Learning Styles

There are a number of learning styles which are generally adopted by individuals for sustainable development of skills. Classification of learning style can be as Kolb learning and Vark learning style. In addition to this, Kolb learning style is an experiential learning model that assists in experience development through skill learning. In this style, a person mainly focuses on the experience-level advancement in order to meet standards. On the other side, Vark learning is mainly classified in diverse ways, such as visual, aural, read and write. By having an effective consideration of model, the kinaesthetic skills can also be advanced effectively. It assists in meeting long-term goals and objectives so that sustainable values can be attained.

Vark Application

On the basis of Vark learning style, I can state that my visual skills are at an average level, which allows ensuring that I am offering an appropriate response in respect to outcome. In addition to this, it can be stated that aural skills level is 7, which advances the effectiveness of work process. Along with this, read and write skills also need to be improved because it assist in long-term.

Team Roles

In the Belbin team roles, which are identified almost around 9 team roles within the organization. These team roles are as follows:

Resource Investigator

The main strengths of resource investigator are that have the ability to explore the opportunities and establish a relationship by developing contact with others. Whereas, the weaknesses of these team roles is that they are very overoptimistic, and sometimes they lose their interest at the beginning stage.

Team Worker

It is those who can effectively identify the needed work and do the work on behalf of its team group. The major strengthening of teamwork is that they are more co-operative, diplomatic and also perceptive. The major weakness of teamwork is that avoiding confrontation.

Coordinator

They are mainly focused on the objectives of the team and delegating the work to its member in a proper manner (Senaratne and Gunawardane, 2015). The main strength of coordinator is that they are more confident; it also identified talent and clarified goals. Therefore, the major weakness of a coordinator is that they are more manipulative.

Plant

They are those people who are more creative, have imagination power, develop ideas, solve the various problems and are able to think freely. They are those who ignore the incidents, which is the main weakness of plant and not able to communicate in an effective manner.

Monitor Evaluator

They are that person who has the ability to make judgments partially when they are in need. The main strength of monitor evaluator is that they can sell all type of options and make judgments in an accurate manner. Thus, the major weakness of these people is that they do not have the capability to inspire other people.

Specialist

They are those people who have in-depth knowledge in their field in the teams, as they are independent minds. It delivers in-depth knowledge and skills in their specialist.

Shaper

The role of the shaper is that they are making sure that the team keeps going without any momentum. The main strength of the shaper is that they are more challenging and dynamic

Implementer

The role of implementer is that they required to planning a workable strategy as soon as possible (Senaratne and Gunawardane, 2015). The main strength of the implementer is that they are more efficient, reliable and practical in nature. They are very slow in responding, which is the main weakness of implementer.

Completer Finisher

They are those people who can scrutinize the work at the end and make sure the work quality is under the standard. The main strength of a complete finisher is that they are more perfect, and weakness is that they are reluctant in delegating.

My personal role is a monitor evaluator in ABC Company, under which my personal role is to make judgments partially. From the above, the team role of Belbin model, I am able to make judgments and able to sell all type of options and make the judgments in an accurate manner.

Myer-Briggs Type Indicator

It is that type of tool under which they are mainly used for the purpose of an advanced algorithm that makes a prediction in which they enjoy the job. Thus, it is highly based upon factors; these are as follows:

  • Personality match: It shows that how well an individual's unique personality match with the unique job profile.
  • The job itself: There are some jobs that are more enjoyable than the other jobs
  • Other factors—job enjoyment are majorly influenced through skills, career aspiration, and personal values.

In addition to this, it can be stated that communication skills assist me in interacting with diverse members, which allows building a better relationship. Along with this, it can be stated that having an appropriate selection of learning style according to specific needs assists in meeting key goals and objectives. The link between personality and preference is also significant to consider because it ensures that key values are being accomplished effectively. It has been noticed that actual information about the skills is significant to consider so that long-term opportunities can be advanced.

Review

It has been noticed that I am having proper communication with colleagues, which allows me to have a better understanding of the aspects. Interpersonal skills are also well enhanced, which allows accomplishing key goals and objectives so that long-term sustainability can be advanced in a critical manner. Other than this, there are few weaknesses that impact the overall development. Improper time management is one of the critical aspects that might affect the development. Along with this, my emotional state is also high, which creates an issue and affects the overall outcome. Emotional time of treatment is also not according to standards, which affect the development process.
In addition to this, it has been noticed that I am well focused on the step-by-step approach in order to resolve the issues. With the assistance of this, key aspects can be advanced in order to meet key goals and objectives. By having an application of structured methods, the problem-solving method's effectiveness can be advanced. However, the formal procedure knowledge is not appropriate, which impacts the overall process in a negative manner. It has been noticed that by having an improvement in the learning process, the issues can be resolved effectively.

Opportunities

It has been noticed that there are a number of opportunities that need to be referred by individuals so that long-term sustainability can be advanced. In order to have continuous development of skills, the new idea of approach can be considered as a critical aspect. With an application of methods, the issues can be resolved and lead to an impressive level of success (Popescu and Predescu, 2016). Along with this, diverse methods can be referred to that assist in improving logical and analytical skills so that goals and objectives can be accomplished in the desired manner. By having self-learning techniques and discipline, the issues can be resolved. A person can improve his professional knowledge by having consideration of seminars and a lifelong learning process. It assists in making sure that the continuous development of methods is significant so that goals and objectives can be accomplished. Moreover, the promotion of goal-oriented promotion is significant to consider because it assists in meeting key goals and objectives. With an application of methods, the key issues can be resolved in order to lead individual development towards better success. Using diverse methods with regard to the continuous development of interpersonal skills will assist in improving capabilities, which assist at the workplace.
