INTRODUCTION

Graduation is the phase which makes an individual prepare for choosing the job where the gathered knowledge and skills can be applied. Graduates gain knowledge and experience which they can use in their careers (Bencharit, and et. al., 2019). This file provides that every person has some targets and goals which they wish to achieve in life and these can be personal as well as professional. Hence, the description of the ideal job along with the person's specifications and qualifications have been included in this report. My Ideal Job

According to me, the ideal job as per my education and knowledge is that of an event organiser. This field is very interesting as there is always something new to do. It is not easy to be an event organiser as the person has to plan the whole program, from the beginning to the end. This might seem to be a fun job but there are a lot of efforts behind this. I have been studying in the final year of the Business Management course which has filled me with theoretical knowledge that can be applied practically. There are some most important roles which have to be undertaken by an event organiser are to plan, manage and organise for a successful event. This stream is highly attractive which makes it competitive. Therefore, I need to have good knowledge about the market, together with effective communication and interactive skills in order to persuade the customers to choose the company for which I am going to work for, for the their events. Apart from this, leadership skills should also be possessed by me for guiding the whole team in order to carry out their individual tasks without any delay (Luo, 2019).

A Job Description for My Ideal Job

The job of the event organiser is to look after the whole event and take responsibility for each activity for its timely completion. There should be proper and detailed planning followed by allotment of roles according to the skills and capabilities of the subordinates in the team. Hence, there should be a mix of a variety of skills together with enhanced capabilities for meeting the requirements of the clients. Position Overview Looking for an event organiser responsible for generating ideas, planning and organising the event by implementing all these to provide high satisfaction to customers.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Planning the event and assigning the tasks to every individual in the team.
  • Functions as the head of event planning for every event.
  • Directly reports to the Event Management Team Lead and actively participates in the functions involved in the whole event.
  • Work closely with the team by providing guidance and instructions in order to make the event successful.
  • Responsible for any major modifications and to be reported immediately.
  • Oversees the coordination of all organized events for the company. This may include a number of activities such as forming contracts, meeting clients etc.
Job Requirements:
  • Effective communication and leadership skills for the management of the whole event.
  • Minimum qualification and degree in business management in the field of event management.
  • Skilled and compatible with the basic knowledge about computing such as Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint.
