  • Apply standard IT packages in order to generate reports and other documents, pertaining to employment and employability.

INTRODUCTION

Employability skills is known as the transferable skill which is required by an individual to develop or grow themselves suitable for employment (Kiai, Lewa and Karimi, 2019). Apart from the technical expertise specific to the job role, employers also outline skills such as learning ability, problem solving, planning, communication, self management and team work skills. Digital marketing is defined as advertising that delivered through social media, websites, mobile apps and email etc (Collet, Hine and Du Plessis, 2015). There are three areas as to manage the complex customer relation across the variety of channels.

The present report is based on analysing employability skills for career in field of digital marketing.& Henceforth, report will cover things as reflect on assessment centre experience day, Personal Gap analysis on the areas that is lack of evidence. Lastly, key development and action plan to note specific career related activities.

SECTION 1

PART A

Group exercise- I am good at communication and this has helped me a lot at the time communication in group. I had asked a lot of question relation to digital market and I have answered them all properly. The weakness was mine is that I did not use STAR technique to prepare examples and firstly I was nervous in making interaction.

Presentation- I have good presentation skill and this has helped me to do the things effectively. I have communicated each thing about the presentation in well mode.& Therefore, I have used formal dress code so that I can look more professional and this can help me to build good image. The one of the weakness of mine was that I did not use the company and industry knowledge to support the answer provided (Guo, Wang and Wang, 2019).

Interview- I have performed very well as I have maintained the smile on my face and good eye contact with the interviewer. Thus, I also maintained relaxed body level so that I can be confident in front of them. I have also impressed the interviewer by asking the good question at the end. Therefore, I respond to each question in structured mode with use of examples. My core weakness is that I did not use STAR technique to prepare the examples.

PART B

What are your key learning from this experience?

My overall experience was good as I attended the whole things in proper manner. Therefore, I have managed group excercise, presentation and interview all effectively. In this, I have enhanced my communication skill so nicely and this has helped me to develop my professionalism. I acknowledged that interaction is very crucial at the time of facing any interview. Also, I was lacking in confidence and somehow I tried to maintain eye contact with interviewer. So, my overall experience was good and this also has helped me to develop core strength and also helps to me make interaction with other people nicely (Van Laer, Verbruggen and Janssens, 2019).

How will use this experience to assist with prepration for employer and employee centre.

I will use this experience as one of my core strength and will use to tell other to develop professionalism so that entire things can be done effectively. Therefore,& I encouraged my co-workers to develop professionaly and enhance their motivation skill. I have told to employees and employer to deal with skills effectively so that employer can able to conduct the interview effectively at the time of conducting interview. As per my experience, I must recommend other to enhance their professional skills by developing communication, interaction and confident skill (Sharif, 2017). Also, I will also take demo interview for the each individual so that they can enhance their learning and find out the areas where they are lacking. This will help them to explore their abilities so that& in future they face the interview effectively ( Uysal, 2019).

I need to finish my work on time and also I should engage in managing all things adequately.

I need to learn digital marketing skills for my career

How can I commit to achieving my goals?

By completing it on timely basis, I can achieve my goals and objectives.

Are there any barriers that I need to remove to make this happen

Yes like for example I am really diverted I need to focus on digital marketing skills.

How will I know I have been successful

When I have career growth in digital marketing sector.

In order to build the career in advanced and effective manner this is crucial to improve the performance of individuals by identifying the lacking areas those need improvements (Suleman, 2016). It is defined as study that enables the entity to bridge the gap between the actual and desired performance within individuals (Runhaar,& Bouwmans and Vermeulen, 2019). Therefore, personal gap analysis will be defined in context to prepare for an employer assessment cemyre as part of the recruitment process for the placement role or graduate job.
