Section 3: The Table of Contents (5 minutes)

• Label the page as Contents (boldface it and centralize it too)
• Leave a two blank line space.
• Add the following details within a defined space:

Section 5: The Body Paragraphs (15 minutes)

Now, it is time to format the main body of your assignment. Give it the required time and read the below-mentioned points precisely to make it apt:

The Title:

• Boldface the main head of your document and centralize it. (Basically, the introduction and the chapter heads.)
• Centralize these titles.
• Leave two blank lines between the title and the beginning of its first paragraph.

The Paragraphs:

• The first sentence of a new paragraph is indented by 1/2 inch.
• Leave the left margin ragged.
• Double-space the entire text.
• Add a subtitle with boldface and from the left side.
• If your subhead has a head under it, then don't boldface it rather italicize it.
• If you are adding an excerpt or quote of more than 5 lines, then it has to be indented like a block. Also, leave a blank line above and below it.

Section 5: Footnotes and Endnotes (15 Minutes)

By and large, footnotes are a part of your body paragraphs only and the endnotes are placed before bibliography page. The footnotes will be placed at the end of each page and endnotes have a separate page devoted to it with the title ‘Notes' and it compiles all the footnotes in numerical order. Section 6: Bibliography (10 Minutes)

Under this section, you write the works cited in the Chicago style. Some of the key factors to consider here are:

• The title of this page is “Bibliography,” which is centralized without any editing.
• Each entry has a hanging indent i.e., the first line is aligned with the left margin while the subsequent lines are indented.
• Present this information in alphabetical order.
