Okay, what is the first thing that comes into your mind after you hear the name of the subject- Electrical Engineering. Obviously, complex circuit problems, confused electrical theorems, long derivations, etc. But as per the electrical engineering assignment help experts of Assignment Desk, there is also a fun part of the subject which often gets skipped by the students. In short, there are many activities that comes along with the academic discipline which not only develops the interest of the students towards the subject but also help them understand the complexity of the subject better.

Hello Students! Welcome to this blog where we will reveal 5+ fun experiments of electrical engineering that you can preform anywhere and anytime. So, without much ado, let our assignment helper share the secret that Google never knew.

1.Separating Pepper from the Salt:

No! You won't require the Harry Potter magical wand to perform the magic. In fact, you can easily do the ‘impossible' task with much ease.

Here's How to Do It: First, mix the two ingredients (salt & pepper) in the bowl. Now, run a comb through your hair to make it charged. After this, place it over the bowl. You will notice that the pepper will start sticking to the comb. Well, this magic is the result of static electricity. This will help you understand how charges attract/repel each other.

2.Bend the Water:

Sounds crazy, right? But, in reality you can easily bend the water despite it being a liquid. This is again a fun task to learn electrical engineering concepts and shock you friends.

Here's How to Do It: Just like the previous experiment, you will be required to charge the comb by running it through your hairs. After the comb is charged, you have to simply place it near the water flow. To your surprise, you will notice that the water flow will bend towards the direction of the comb.

3.Forget Solving When You Can Actually Build a Circuit:

As per the assignment writing service providers, majority of the students seek academic assistance from the experts because of complex circuit problems. Such students will definitely have a sigh of relief as they can now create one on their own.

Here's How to Do It: First thing first, screw the light bulb into a holder. Now take two copper wires and connect them with the two terminals of the battery. Now, tap the other end of the copper wires onto the battery pack. You will realize that as soon as you will tap the wires, the bulb will start glowing. The reason lies in the fact that you have created a closed circuit.

4.Turn Nail Into a Magnet:

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Now, you can turn a nail into a magnet using the electrical engineering concepts and you still thought that the subject is boring? Well, its time to think again.

Here's How to Do It: For this, you will require a nail, copper wires, and a D-cell battery. To perform the fun activity, wrap the copper wire around the nail. Now, connect the copper wire to the terminals of the battery. Leave for some time. After 5-10 minutes, dissemble the arrangement. Now test the magnetic tendency of the nail by bringing iron objects close to it. To your shock, the nail has now turned into a magnet.

5.Make an Electric Train:

This may sound weird to you but to your surprise, it is possible to create an electric train in less than a minute. List of raw materials you will need are- coiled copper wire, 2 magnets and an AA battery.

Here's How to Do It: Place the magnet on each side of the AA battery terminals. One thing to note here is that both the magnets should be placed in a way that they repel each other. Now, simply place the arrangement into the coiled copper wire. You will notice that when you will place the battery on one end, it will automatically flow to the other end. This is hard to believe, right? How about trying it on your own then?

6.Identify Which Object Conduct Electricity:

Want to distinguish between conductors and insulators in a fraction of second? If yes, then this experiment is just for you. Before we begin, get ready with the following raw materials- bulb placed in the holder, battery pack, and 3 copper wires.

Here's How to Do It: Take one electric wire and connect one end of it with one terminal of the battery and the other end to one terminal of the bulb holder. Now, attach the second wire to the other terminal of the battery and keep the next end open. Similarly, connect the third wire to the other terminals of the bulb holder and keep the other end free. After this, your arrangement is complete. Placing any object between the two wire will complete the circuit. In case of a conductor, the bulb will glow and in case of an insulator, it doesn't. Now, place any object between the wire to know whether it permits electricity or not.
